National Programme on Applied Welfare Research
The national programme on applied welfare research aims to improve the state of knowledge in the social services sector. The programme is part of the Swedish Government’s initiative to meet major societal challenges through research and innovation. Ongoing research within the programme
Funding Until 2022, 52 research projects, five practice-oriented research fellows, nine programme grants, 31 planning grants, four systematic reviews and four postdoc have been funded through the programme.
PhD studies bring research closer to practice
Funding In 2018, Forte initiated a national programme of PhD studies for social services professionals. The PhD studies is led by the universities in Lund and Malmö and will contribute to long-term develoment of knowledge within the social services sector.
