Health care and Health care organisation
The area Health care and Health care organisation covers practice-oriented research in health care and caring that evaluates the effects of interventions for improved health outcomes. It includes the analysis of care needs, access to care and use of care as well as technical solutions for the improvement of care processes (E-health).
It also covers the governance, organisation and management of health care as well as how services and organisations can be improved. This applies to both the health care system (macro perspective) and health care processes, i.e. the meeting between the patient and the provider (micro perspective).
Health economic analysis is also included in the panel as well as studies on how research results can become useful and implemented in health care organisations.
