Social policy, social change and living conditions
This area covers research on social policy, social change and people’s living conditions.
The area includes research on the aims of social policy, legislation, authorities and organisations and the impact of social security systems on people’s conditions and development. Also relevant is research on inequalities in living conditions (including income and health), societal changes and their consequences as well as studies of the importance of family and childhood conditions for life chances at the population level.
The panel is also responsible for population and migration studies.
