From incels to the effects of post-covid – 71 projects are granted in the open call
News Forte is now granting SEK 315 million in funding to 71 new research projects that applied through the annual open call for project grants 2022. Examples of research questions that will be studied are: What drives men to become incels? Does increased school demands lead to stress and mental health problems in youths? Are people more willing to accept more ambitious climate policies if they are compensated by a generous welfare state? What effects does post-covid have on the individual and on society? The projects, which will run until 2026, cover all of Forte’s areas – health, working life and welfare.
What happens with your application in the annual call for projects grants?
News A total of 770 applications were received in Forte’s annual call for project grants 2022. Some 100 experts working in 11 review panels are now assessing and prioritising the applications. Forte’s coordinating Senior Research Officer Sofie Wallerström explains the process.
