The purpose of Forte’s journal grants is to support scientific discussion and publication and to promote the dissemination of scientific information within Forte’s areas of responsibility and coordination. In total, SEK 10 million is reserved by Forte for the period 2022—2024.
Focus area
Swedish-language journals within Forte’s areas of responsibility (Health, Working Life and Welfare) can apply for grants for editorial work and publishing. The purpose of Forte’s journal grant is twofold; namely to support scientific discussion and publication in Swedish within Forte’s areas of responsibility, and to promote the dissemination of scientific information within Forte’s areas of responsibility and coordination — in particular results from research funded by Forte.
Grant limit
The amount granted amounts to a maximum of SEK 1,200,000 for 3 years. In total, SEK 10 million is reserved by Forte for the period 2022—2024.
Who can apply?
This is an organisational call for applications. The application is initiated by the individual responsible for the organisational account in the Prisma application and review system. The initiator of the application can then invite a project leader appointed by the administrating organisation to help fill in the contents of the application.
The administrating organisation must have an account
To be able to apply for a grant, a Swedish university or another research funding body must administrate the funding and have an organisational account in Prisma. The administering organisation should apply for this in due time via Prisma.
