428 million SEK to strengthen high-priority research
News 428 million SEK, 23 research programmes and five strategic research areas. During the autumn, applications in Forte’s 2016 call for programme grants were assessed by five international expert panels. On November 17th, Forte’s board made the final funding decisions.
Newly arrived child migrants and the Swedish arrival structure – English summary
Publication The autumn of 2015 saw a significant increase in the number of asylum seekers in Sweden and increased pressure on the arrival structure as a result. Many of the asylum seekers were children, who came unaccompanied or with their families.
Programme Grants in Strategic Research Fields 2016
Funding Forte supports high quality research that has relevance for health, working life and welfare. In order to strengthen the research fields in areas with considerable needs and societal challenges Forte will fund a number of programme grants. The call concerns five prioritised research areas, and the aim is to contribute to a long-term development of knowledge and competence.
