Forte has granted funding to eleven applications that were sent in through the call for applications for International Grants 2019. The call which closed in April aims to promote the exchange of knowledge from the international research community to Swedish research environments.

Forte has granted funding for eleven out of a total of 66 applications within the call International Grants 2019.

The aim of the call is to promote the exchange of knowledge from the international research community to Swedish research environments, as well as contribute to the dissemination of Swedish research abroad.

Seven of the approved applications have been awarded Visiting Researcher Grants. Two of them receive grants for outcoming researchers whilst five of them receive grants for incoming research. The Visiting Researcher Grant is firstly intended to fund shorter stays to allow for research collaboration, an exchange of experience, as well as consultations. In total, the applications are awarded SEK 2 2646 000.

Four of the applications have been awarded Conference Grants, with a total amount of SEK 1 175 000.
