Assignments and initiatives
Here you can read about assignments and initiatives in specific areas that are not included in our national research programmes or in our coordination areas. These can be both temporary and permanent assignments.

Forte’s assignments and targeted initiatives in specific areas may involve funding research or mapping and analysing the current state of research in order to share evidence-based knowledge about which interventions, methods and approaches deliver the best results and outcomes.
Forte is currently working on the following initiatives:
- Prevention and public health
- Women’s health and diseases
- Care and support for people with dementia
- The Transition to accessible, person-centred care
Forte also collaborates with 26 other government agencies in supporting, coordinating and monitoring the implementation of Sweden’s national strategy for mental health and suicide prevention, led by the Public Health Agency of Sweden and the National Board of Health and Welfare.
