Here you will find all of Forte's calls for proposals. Granted applications can be found under each respective decided call for proposals.

Forte funds research within three main fields: health, working life and welfare. This is research that concerns us all and gives us knowledge to develop, both individually and as a society.

When it is possible to apply for a grant, we publish a call for proposals here on our website. To apply for funding from Forte, you need to use our application system Prisma. Please note that the application process can take considerable time, so ensure you begin the process early.

Once you have submitted your application to Forte, it will go through several stages of review. If the application meets the conditions of the call, it will be forwarded to Forte’s review panels for assessment. You will receive an email when the decision is available in Prisma.

Disbursements are normally made on a monthly basis. In Prisma, you can view information about your grant and make updates when needed. Both financial and scientific reporting are required. As part of the scientific responsibility, you are also expected to ensure that the results of the research are published with open access.

The administrating organisation is the Swedish organisation where the project leader is employed and which receives the funds disbursed by Forte.

To apply for a grant from Forte, you are required to use our application system, Prisma. Through Prisma, you can also access information regarding ongoing projects or grants, as well as submit requests for project changes.  

Which projects have received funding? You can find approved applications from 2025 and 2024 under each respective call for proposals. More detailed information about each awarded grant is available in the Swecris database.
