Research on Future Working Life (NordForsk)

In collaboration with other Nordic and Lithuanian research funders, Forte and NordForsk is now issuing a call for research on future working life. The overall aim of the call is to generate knowledge and solutions for a sustainable and inclusive future working life in a Nordic and/or Nordic-Lithuanian context. Available budget is approximately NOK 46 million, over 4 years

About the call

The funding parties have identified three crucial and inter-linked areas that would particularly benefit from Nordic and Nordic-Lithuanian research collaboration. The following areas will be prioritised by the Future Working Life research programme:

  • Sustainable labour force participation
  • Work environment and wellbeing
  • Green transition of working life

Applicants are invited to apply for funding to establish a research project with a budget of maximum NOK 9 million and a duration of 3-4 years. The intention is to provide funding for 5 research projects under this call.

This call is part of the NordForsk research programme for Future Working Life. Funding parties include, in addition to Forte, the Research Council of Norway, Rannis – the Icelandic Centre for Research, the Research Council of Lithuania, Department of Trade and Industry at the Government of Åland and NordForsk.
