Om publikationen

Persons with disabilities are among those groups in society that have the most difficulty establishing themselves in the labour market. In Sweden, only 22 percent are engaged in some form of paid employment. Despite the central importance of work for both society and individuals research on work and intellectual disability is limited.

This Research Brief offers a concise overview of the knowledge base in the field intellectual disability and work, and brings to light important knowledge gaps for future research.
