Programme on working life research
The way working life is structured is crucial to the development of society. Therefore, more knowledge is needed to manage structural transformations such as digitalisation, the green transition, and demographic change. Forte’s ten-year national programme for working life research was launched in 2017 and forms part of the government’s initiative to address these challenges through research and innovation.
What the programme aims to achieve
The research programme is intended to strengthen all aspects of working life research in order to address the societal challenges within this field. The programme primarily focuses on identified challenges in working life to ensure that neglected areas with significant needs are prioritised.
Identified challenges:
- Creating a sustainable and inclusive working life·
- Achieving a health-promoting work environment
- Promoting good working conditions
