The area Work organisation consists of research about organisations, their leaders and employees. In a changing world, knowledge is needed about how work is organised in the development towards new models, where digitalisation, employee health and safety and new “job design” can be combined.

The area includes questions about changing employment and power relations at work places, governance towards innovation and implementation, as well as entrepreneurial organisations and new professional roles. Studies of the link between globalisation, new distributed work constellations and risks of unemployment, job insecurities and temporary employment are also included in the area. Research on forms of leadership, management, learning and governance is also evaluated. Participation and work related control as well as power relations analysed from gender and ethnicity perspectives are included.
