To apply for research funding through Forte you will need to use our application and review system, Prisma. On this page you will find instructions and links to get you started with your application.

Prisma application system

Prisma is the joint application and review system for Forte, Formas and the Swedish Research Council. With Prisma you can use a single account to apply for grants at all three research councils.

To submit an application you will need to create a personal account. Here you can store information about your education, work experience and publications which you will need to apply for a grant. The information can then be used for different applications, regardless of the research council responsible for the grant. You can regularly update your application until the application deadline.

Creating an account

All researchers involved in an application must create a personal account. If your employer is connected to SWAMID you can use the same login information in Prisma that you use in your workplace. If you are unsure whether your employer is connected to SWAMID, ask your IT department.

Remember to register your account well before the application deadline. This will save you time when you are due to submit your application.

For organisations

All organisations, and researchers employed by organisations, that apply for grants in Prisma, must have an account in Prisma. The organisation may designate users with different competencies. In Prisma, organisations can see an overview of their application and which items are waiting to be actioned. In order to open an organisation account in Prisma, the organisation must meet certain criteria.
