When Forte’s call Project grants 2026 closed in March, more than 1,000 applications had been submitted. The assessment process is now nearing completion, and on 26 October, applicants will be notified which projects will receive funding.

Twenty percent of all children and young people under the age of 18 in Sweden grow up with a parent who has harmful substance use issues. These children often keep their situation a secret, making them invisible to those around them. Support groups are one way of helping these children, but how effective are they? A Forte-funded impact evaluation has sought to answer that question.
