On February 2, Forte will host a digital information meeting about the upcoming call ‘Health and welfare for an aging population in Sweden and India in 2022. The aim of the meeting is to inform about the call and previous experiences of conducting research on ageing and health in collaborative projects between the two countries.

Forte and the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR) invites proposals for a joint call: Health and welfare of ageing populations in Sweden and India 2022. It is a one-step call that opened January 25, 2022 and closes April 7.

Forte therefore invites interested researchers to a digital information meeting.

In addition to receiving more information about the call and how to apply participants will hear about:

  • the current situation regarding public health and the elderly in India,
  • which research areas within the field India is especially strong in and
  • previous experiences of conducting research in collaborative projects with the country.
