Forte’s submission to the Government’s research policy 2017-2027 identifies five strategic research areas which need to be strengthened. It also presents a total of ten recommendations for how our research can better benefit society.

In the submission we identifies five megatrends – globalisation, migration, urbanisation, climate change and digitalisation and new technologies. Forte wants to contribute to finding solutions for these challenges and highlights in its submission five strategic research areas which need to be strengthened in order to meet these challenges:

  • Demographic developments and trends
  • Transformation of working life
  • Quality, organisation and processes of welfare systems
  • Migration and ethnic relations
  • Equal living conditions

Forte’s submission presents a total of ten recommendations for how our research can better benefit society. Forte aims to halve the time between the production of research results and their application in policy and practice.
